What is the State Room?
The State Room, a 21 and over, 300 capacity live music venue, presents nationally acclaimed musicians and the finest local acts.
Where is The State Room?
We are conveniently located at 638 South State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah right across the street from The Bayou. From 1-15 South, take the 600 South Exit and make a right on State Street and we are about four buildings down on the right. From I-15 North take the 400 South Exit and take a right on State Street. The TRAX station at the Courthouse is also within walking distance.
How do I buy tickets?
You may buy tickets on this website or on any show night at the box office. Please note that Night of Show Ticket Prices are typically more than advance purchase prices.
When you purchase tickets online you will be able to print tickets right at home. Please present a photo ID at the box office if you have any trouble printing your tickets. You may also chose to have your tickets mailed to you for an additional fee.
Tickets are also available the University of Utah Graywhale Records (208 South 1300 East, Salt Lake City. Phone: 801 583 3333).
When is your box office open?
The box office opens at 4 pm on show days. It is located in the lobby of The State Room. 801-596-3560
What seating is available at the venue?
The State Room features a mix of fixed seats, tables and chairs, and open floor space. For some shows, cabaret seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis. All tickets are general admission.
When do shows start?
Shows at The State Room begin promptly at time listed on the website.
Where do I park?
Diamond Parking controls the lots immediately south and west of our building, it is $3 to park here. There is plenty of street parking available, but please observe all parking regulations and meters. Another option is the large Sears parking lot about a block South of The State Room.
Is there food or beverage permitted at The State Room?
No outside food or drink is permitted inside The State Room. We have a full bar and some snacks.
Is The State Room an all-ages venue?
No. The State Room is a 21 and older venue. Proper photo identification will be required for entry.
What is the photo policy?
The State Room has a no have flash photography and video recording policy. In our venue it is very distracting to the performance. We also do not allow cameras with removable lens unless there is prior approval. It is nearly impossible to set an exact polciy relating to photos since there are occassions where bands encourage it. Please check with the box office.

You may purchase tickets online for all State Room shows. Your billing address for your account must match the billing address for your credit card.
When you purchase online, you may opt for MAIL or PRINT AT HOME.
Please present a photo ID when picking up tickets from the Box Office.
